Cody Cropper finally finds a home, signs with Ipswich

Former IMG Academy goalkeeper Cody Cropper has finally landed a contract offer after almost two years of trials and disappointments. The 17-year old wound up with Roy Keane’s English Championship side Ipswich Town as reported at Inside Minnesota Soccer. Cropper, Minnesota born and with the added bonus of an English passport, signed a two-year deal with the first year a scholar deal and the second, when he turns 18, a professional contract



Amaechi Igwe signs with Ingolstadt

Former New England Revolution SuperDraft pick Amaechi Igwe is reportedly on trial at 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Fuerth. German Web site transfermarkt.de said the 21-year old defender had joined Fuerth after an unsuccessful trial with Danish club Aalborg.

Devann Yao signs with Ipswich Town

Devann Yao, a 19-year old, New York-born winger has signed a contract with Roy Keane’s Ipswich Town until the end of the season, the Coca Cola Football League Championship side announced Feb. 3. Yao has been with Ipswich since at least November, when he was first offered a contract.

Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden has signed a contract to play with Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League. The contract ties him to Owen Coyle through the end of their 2009-10 season, but judging by the language on Holden’s Web site, he does not expect to be back in a Dynamo kit anytime soon, if ever.
