Kei Kamara in his old team's kit

“The fans are showing the Houston organization that they made a big mistake. I guess I get to show them that too next year.” Kansas City Wizards forward Kei Kamara (here in his old team’s kit), on the positive reception given to him by Houston Dynamo fans at Robertson Stadium on Saturday. Kamara was traded from the Dynamo Sept. 15.

I wouldn't say the fans gave him a warm reception. There were some in the El Batallon supporters group that had Kamara 10 shirts on and they chanted "Ka-ma-ra" a few times at the beginning of the game. As usual, the Mental Midget let it go to his head. Of course, we was calling the same supporters group prior to the trade to persuade them to call management and ask that he not be traded. Not professional.

Kamara also posted a note on his Facebook page telling Crew fans that he wanted them to cheer for him when Houston was in town a few weeks back. Yeah sure, Kei, because they always root root root for guys trying to help keep them from winning a game, the shield, etc.

This is the same guy who started a fight during a scrimmage the Crew held with a local adult ethnic side, causing the game to be called after 65 minutes and turning a community outreach PR event into a public embarrassment.

Kamara is just a low wattage guy.
