How will we judge the contest? Both quantity and quality of comments will be taken into consideration. That’s right, it’s subjective. This to cut down on mass commenting or worse, spamming on the one hand, while preventing nonsensical arguments on the other. We are not, repeat not, looking for people to agree with us on all matters (unlike your college professor who promised the same thing when grading your papers, we’re not lying either!)

Both the ASN home page and all team pages (including “Over There”, U.S. men and women’s national team pages as well as our Women’s Professional Soccer page) count for the contest.

You can use the gift certificate to purchase one of SoccerPro’s soccer jerseys. With the 2010 World Cup coming up, you can get yourself a U.S. national team jersey for example.

Only comments posted by 11:59 EST on Feb. 28 will be considered. The selection committee will choose a winner by March 1 and announce it via Twitter the following day.
