The clock is ticking. The latest extension to Major League Soccer’s collective bargaining agreement expires Thursday, Feb. 25. If some pundits are to be believed, the two sides are locked in a knock-down/drag-them-out struggle that threatens the league’s very existence. Others, ASN included, are far more sanguine.     The other alternative is a short strike that doesn't or only briefly interrupts the season. I think this is likely.
