Sounders come up short vs Red Bulls

Jeremy Hall (left) and Steve Zakuani battle for a ball. It was a close-fought, physical encounter at Qwest Field on Saturday night. Though both sides had plenty at chances at scoring multiple goals, in the end Macoumba Kandji’s first half strike stood up as the lone winner. With the improbable victory, the New York Red Bulls won their first league match on the road since May 2008.
