Bolton Wanderers new head coach Owen Coyle has turned down the chance to sign U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Stuart Holden after a two-week trial, allowing the 24-year old to sign with Sporting Braga, Mirror Football reported tonight, Jan. 18.

It’s been three weeks since round two and six weeks since our first look at the number of followers each Major League Soccer team has through its ASN Twitter account. With a bit of a lull in the news cycle ahead of Thursday’s MLS SuperDraft, today is as good a day as any to get caught up.

With mock drafts popping up of all over the place, ASN figured it time to aggregate their predictions to see what the consensus is. We’ll do two versions, one now and one post-Combine. Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden will reportedly head to Burnley on trial. The move to the English Premiership side is partly intended to buy more time for contract negotiations with the Dynamo, according to the report by My Fox Houston. The 24-year old U.S. international’s contract with Major League Soccer expired yesterday, Dec. 31.
